Sailthru Ceramics
Sailthru was started in November 1991 as a hobby for the ladies on the family farm. But it wasn't long before the beautiful earthenware products were impressing locals and foreign tourists alike. As a result, Sailthru is now a booming ceramics factory providing employment to locals, with their wares gracing shops throughout the country.
Sailthru is best known for it's range of Cabbage Ware inspired by the old Portuguese designs. they have designed and hand carved their own range based on the vegetables grown on the farm.
Sailthru also produces an extensive range of ceramics for the home — both plain glazed and hand painted. All items are made to order. The factory is located on the farm in the beautiful Loskop Valley—1 1/2 hours from Pretoria and 2 1/2 hours from Johannesburg.
